The Nadura Clinic - GI Map

What is The GI-MAP?

The GI-MAP is the gold standard stool test which screens for various gastrointestinal, digestive and immune markers together with pathogenic bacteria, commensal (“normal” or beneficial) bacteria, opportunistic pathogens, fungi, viruses, and parasites.

It’s designed to assess particular microbes and pathogens that may be disturbing normal digestive function potentially causing bloating, flatulence, constipation, diarrhoea , reflux, stomach ulcers and other IBS type symptoms.

It primarily uses multiplex automated DNA analysis to give our practioners a better view into the gastrointestinal microbiome.

Microbiome

The microbiome represents the collection of microorganisms found in the human gut which we now know is shaped by a host of factors such as genetics, diet, stress, anxiety and nutrient status. This in turn is able to influence host biology in health and disease.

This cutting edge home kit test provides valuable information for our practioners to create targeted programmes for our clients to help them achieve the best outcomes.
